Over my seventh grade year I have learned a lot about computers. I know how to do keyboard shortcuts. I know how to see all the keyboard shortcuts. I know how to make the screen upside down, right side up, left side, and right side. I didn't learn the screen tricks in computer class, but now I know how to this year. I also know how to change something on the web. I only use this to trick people, but then I can just refresh the browser, and besides, it doesn't show up on the internet, only on my screen.

I know how to open up a new tab without using the mouse, I know how to close a tab without using the mouse, and I know how to close the entire browser without using the mouse.I also know how to copy and paste something without right clicking. So I think that these skills will help me in the future because I will be able to close tabs and stuff faster. So now that you know what I have learned this year in computers, this is my last blog post of the school year, so I might see you guys after summer, but I'm going to be in eighth grade and I might not edit my website anymore. So any way thanks for reading all my blogs this whole year and have a great summer.

Today in science class we dissected and ate a squid, or know as calamari. It's called calamari when it is cooked, but when it isn't cooked it's just called a squid. So it was very cool because my partner and I were on the projector as volunteers to dissect it, and demonstrate to everyone. The squid was very very squishy, it felt like it was rubber, but the eyes felt like wet boogers or something.

So after we dissected we were to all take out all the organs, which was very easy. We just had to grab its arms and then pull slowly up. Then we had flip it over and clean, the chromatophores, up by using your finger nails. and scrapping it off. Then we had to give it to our teacher who then out it in a fryer, and then she cut it in two and we shared with our partners. It didn't taste good because I didn't have any seasoning with me so I had to eat it plain, but if you've ever eaten a calamari, post it in the comments box. So now that you guys know how to fry squid and make calamari, I will see you guys next time with another "Free Write Fridays" blog post.

For the past two days my class and I have been doing a virtual frog dissection. We have to go to a website called frogguts.com, and I will put in a link down below. So anyway we had to do the virtual one before ewe do the real one because we might not know what the heck we're doing. So it was fun seeing the insides of a frog and seeigng them virtually, but I really want to see the real frogs.

we are going to dissect the real frogs next Tuesday. I think that it will really smell. I know this from experience with dissecting a sheep's eye before. So I think that the only thing that's holding me back is the fact that I will be touching a frog that is dead and squishy and yeah. So now that you guys know what's going on I will see you guys later.

This Tuesday all the students, well all the seventh grade students will be attending. As you may remember I talked about going to the zoo before in my "Zoo Project" blog. if you don't know where that is it should be in my Free Write Fridays blogs, but if it'd not just find it somewhere in my blogs. While we are gone the eighth graders will be doing a Lip Dub. If you haven't seen the last year's Lip Dub, then go check it out.

Back to the zoo now, our class has been divided into three groups. In those three groups there are three groups with three different animals. They will go to the zoo with a high school student as their guide, and then they will visit all their animals and then do something else. Any way that's what's going on this Tuesday and I will see you guys later with another Free Write Fridays blog.  Down below is the Chafee Zoo website link, just in case you wanted to check out their website.

For the past two days in one of my periods we have been launching rockets. In these past two days there have been fails and successes. My partners and I made a rocket and our launch was a success. The goal of this is to carry an egg on it and make it survive. We had to take our plan from our egg drop design but make it smaller so it will fit on the top of a rocket. At first we didn't know how to do it. Our egg drop design was basically a box with a sponge and a parachute.

We decided to make a smaller box and cut the sponge smaller from our original design and put it in the box. My teacher said that we shouldn't have any flat top boxes and that if someone were to a box design that we should put a pyramid on top so it wouldn't create so much drag on the flight. When we launched our rocket was amazing in my opinion. We  launched it and then at the last minute the parachute deployed. We had one of the engines that had a seven second wait and then it would deploy. So yeah it was fun and I will see you guys later.

Most of you probably think that chimpanzees are just monkeys that live in trees. Well they're not monkeys and they don't just live in trees. They are our closest cousins in the animal species and they're very intelligent. And most of all they are not monkeys. People just say that for short terms lie oh look at that monkey when it is really an ape. I like chimpanzees because I love to climb, but I can't imagine how it would be like to climb like a chimpanzee

There's one weird thing about chimpanzees because sometimes when they run into other troop they can get really violent. When a troop meets another troop it usually ends up into a fight and then when one member of the other troop dies the other troop will eat it. No one can explain why chimpanzees do this cannibalism, but it just happens. Maybe it's because they are running low on food I don't know. But one thing that people know is that it happens, and that's it. There are still things we find out about them that we didn;t know before. But any way this is it and I will see you guys later with another Free Write Fridays blog.

Do any of you guys believe in myths and legends like bigfoot or aliens or the loch ness monster. If you do leave a comment and if you don't then still leave a comment. I don't really believe in some of them, but there were some that have really strong facts that are real and not fake people not fake. There was this documentary I saw on mermaids, and it was really good these people actually found the body and stuff. You guys should look it up on youtube or something, search "mermaids the Body Found". It should give you a lot of results, but get the one with subtitles because that one is the actual documentary. The other ones are just short videos.

Now on to aliens I don't really believe in aliens but I do believe in spaceships. I mean can't the spaceships be like advanced jets that the government could be hiding from the world and reveal it only in combat or something. Any way that's my point of view on aliens and let's move on to big foot. Big foot Might be real I'm still debating on my side but for all I know he is or Isn't Now Let's talk about the Loch Ness monster I think that it is real because they found Living fossils before like those huge fish in Africa and turtles and sharks and crocodiles. But there is one that I will talk about next week which is about a chimpanzee. But yeah I think that the Loch Ness monster is real, and I will see you guys later.

If you have no idea what a liger is then you should probably look at the name again and see think about what it is. If you haven't figured it out or if you already know it is the hybrid offspring of a lion and a tiger. Impossible you may say, fake you may say? Well it isn't fake. It is actually the real deal. If you go on youtube and search up a liger then it will have like a bunch of videos on ligers and stuff so yeah.

If you still don't believe well then leave a comment on why you don't agree with this statement, or like go on google and see if it's true from like scientists or something like that. If  you do believe and agree then put a comment on why you believe or just say like hey man; I BELIEVE. If you don't want to say that or anything then just enjoy reading this blog and other blogs if you would like to. So yeah, go check it out on youtube or google and remember to search "LIGER" And click on videos with the real stuff not like animation or something. So go check out my other blogs like tigers and platypuses and stuff so yeah I will see you later.

Today at my school we are having a rally at seventh and eighth period today. Actually instead of going to lunch and then seventh period we are going to seventh period and then go to lunch, then we go to eighth period and then we go to the rally. So all the period were shortened by a bit today. I have no idea what the rally is going to be about, it might be about Easter or Spring break, or something. But I did hear that they were going to do a Harlem shake activity or something.

I hear about the Harlem shake from my friend in first period. He is in leadership and the miss school for the whole day today so the can set up the rally. I wish that I would have signed up fir leadership instead of any of my other electives. Any way, all I know about the rally is that they will do a Harlem shake. So after this period I will go to seventh not lunch today.

Today is March 15, but yesterday was March 14, it's not just  the fourteenth, it was also pi day. It's not an actual holiday, but it's fun to celebrate it. Pi = 3.14 and yesterday was 3-14-13. If cut of the year it's the same as pi 3.14, and 3-14. So yesterday a teacher named Mr. Doorman had something planned that involved how many numbers you could remember in pi. It goes like 3.14159..... It was during lunch, and a kid remembered two hundred something words, I was there but all I remember is two hundred.

My math teacher or actually the substitute, Mrs. Moon gave us all moon pies since her name is Mrs. Moon, hardy har har. The pies were good I never had a moon pie before, and it was a good first experience taste. So I ate it during the break, and it was mildly sweet. So then we didn't have homework, and we just found the circumference of round things that she gave to us, Mrs. Moon provided the rulers. So yeah it was fun on pi day and I can't wait for next year when it's on a Friday so yeah that's all.
